"Lewis Hamilton & Nico Rosberg at the Macau F3 Grand Prix in 2004".
"In 2015 João travelled for the very first time to the far-east especially to Macau and Hong Kong. There he witnessed the legendary Macau Grand Prix. The yeear after he returned to Macau to present his first solo exhibition with the MACAU GP LEGENDS collection.
The Macau GP was once the stage for many rivalries between two world champions Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg. In 2004 Hamilton won the qualification race from Rosberg.
In the main race pole siter Hamilton was overtaken at start by Rosberg but in the second lap Rosberg misses his breaking point to the Lisboa bend and hit the barriers while Hamilton who followed him closely couldn't avoid the collision bringing both their race to a dramatic finish. This painting had its world premiere at the MACAU GP LEGENDS exhibition on November 2016 in Macau, China. "
