Félix da Costa wins the Macau F3 Grand Prix in 2012
“In 2015 João traveled for the very first time to the far-east especially to Macau and Hong Kong. There he witnessed the legendary Macau Grand Prix. The yeear after he returned to Macau to present his first solo exhibition with the MACAU GP LEGENDS collection.
After a sixth place in the 2010 and 2011 races António Félix da Costa was hoping for a much better result in 2012.
He started by scoring the best lap time in practice and his dominance continued throughout the two races of the event, thereby becoming the second portuguese driver to win the Macau GP after Eduardo de Carvalho in the very first edition in 1954.
The pawn shops lights give a unique ambiance to the race as Félix da Costa begins to climb to São Francisco. This painting had his world premiere at the MACAU GP LEGENDS exhibition on November 2016 in Macau, China. ”
