Gijs van Lennep participated in the rally and took victory after nearly seven hours of racing. The Porsche RSR was unapproachable in that era, especially in the hands of the legendary Dutchman.<\/p>\n<p>This painting is the second of a new series of 'event posters' by Tom Sangen. The Porsche is depicted with character elements such as the fuel cap in the front bonnet.
