Gijs van Lennep and Helmut Matko won the race with the famous Porsche 917K (kurz heck) with a stunning distance of 397 laps and 5335 Km. The beautiful 917 with Martini livery was built with a magnesium tubular frame and even beat the fast Long Tail version in 1971.<\/p>\n<p>Artist John Ketchell is internationally renowned. He is an automotive artist who has already received many commissions from both individuals and well-known companies. When you look at Ketchell's work, you immediately see that speed intrigues him. His semi-abstract style gives us all a lot of freedom to interpret the piece.  At a young age, John was captivated by racing, especially the GP Talbot-Lago was soon his facourite.
